The weather is finally getting warmer in NYC, which means New Yorkers and visitors alike are spending more time in the great outdoors. Franklyn Riley, concierge at Trump International Hotel & Tower® New York, has four picks for great warm weather activities to enjoy in Central Park. Conservatory Garden, located at Fifth Avenue and 105th Street, is the only formal garden in the famed park. “The garden is quiet, calm and free from runners and bicyclists, which makes it an ideal place for relaxing walks and weddings,” Riley says. Make sure to bring your camera to Belvedere Castle —a whimsical touch to the park’s sprawling landscape. The attraction boasts two balconies, which “offer panoramic views of some of Central Park’s most famous and beautiful landmarks, including The Delacorte Theater, the Great Lawn, the Turtle Pond and the Ramble.” The Tisch Children’s Zoo, located within the Central Park Zoo, is a great option for families. The zoo, conveniently located at 64th Street and Fifth Avenue, is open year-round and features a small petting zoo—giving kids the opportunity to feed the animals. Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink is one of the few amusement parks located in the New York metropolitan area. The attraction occupies the Trump Wollman Ice Skating Rink every summer. “The park is small but well-designed,” Riley says. “And, it’s location saves parents and visitors the trouble of driving far away to parks located hours away.”
