I recently saw Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike—the dark comedy that nabbed the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play of the Year. The story follows Vanya (David Hyde Pierce) and his two sisters: the self-doubting Sonia (Kristine Nielsen) and the movie star Masha (Sigourney Weaver) over the span of a few days spent at their childhood home in Pennsylvania.

Yesterday morning, I went to a press event for the new play Dead Accounts, which tells the tale of a brother, sister, and the 27-million-dollar secret that turns their surprise family reunion upside down. The cast lineup is pretty impressive—Katie Holmes, Norbert Leo Butz, Josh Hamilton, Jayne Houdyshell and Judy Greer (making her Broadway debut)—so I was excited to go and learn more about this upcoming show.
