Grab some wet wipes because the barbecue block party of the summer has returned.

Last week, I attended an event at Korean restaurant Gaonnuri, which occupies the top floor of a midtown Manhattan building.

Some people snap their fingers. Many manicure them. Others crack 'em. At Dinosaur Bar-B-Cue, you'll have no choice but to lick yours clean. The mavens of south-of-the-Mason-Dixie-Line cuisine have opened a location in Park Slope, and it's worth squealing about.

What are three things NYC is not known for? 1. downhill skiing, 2. desert storms, 3. barbecue. Geography and climate being what they are, the first two aren’t likely to change soon. But the third one—well, that’s a different story.
