Celebrate 40 Years with The Manhattan Art & Antiques Center

If you want to browse a wide selection of antique furniture, beautiful vintage baubles, contemporary and ancient art, first-edition books and more all under one roof, check out The Manhattan Art & Antiques Center. This sprawling three-level space in Midtown East is home to 100 galleries and approximately 70 top dealers offering an extensive array of silver, jewelry, porcelain, tapestries, furniture, clocks and paintings.

Definitely make sure to stop by the attraction on April 7 when The Manhattan Art & Antiques Center celebrates its 40th anniversary with several free and informative activities. The event will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with complimentary appraisal sessions—the perfect opportunity to have a member of the Appraisers Association of America speak with you about the history and value of your cherished objects.

The appraisal sessions will be followed by a cocktail reception and benefit art auction. Auction items, valued from $500 to $5,000, will include pottery, sculpture and jewelry ranging from 19th century European and Asian antiques to contemporary African and Native American art. All funds raised from the auction will benefit Make‐A-Wish® Metro New York.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and refreshments will be served. To rsvp, call 212.355.4400 or email info@the-macc.com. Check out a few of the breathtaking auction items below and click here for details and more items!
