The day after Thanksgiving has come to symbolize the best deals on clothes, furniture, electronics and more. It’s a great day to shop for holiday gifts or stock up additions to your own wardrobe. We rounded up a few NYC stores offering discounts this year:

My go-to Black Friday shopping usually involves an outlet mall. Their already low-prices make for some great deals—plus most sales continue throughout the weekend, so you don’t have to rush there. Two outlet malls near NYC—Woodbury Common in Central Valley, NY and Jersey Gardens in Elizabeth, NJ—will offer plenty of discounts this Thanksgiving weekend. Both will stay open from 10 a.m. Thanksgiving Day through 10 p.m. Black Friday. Be sure to sign up for emails from some of your favorite stores as many offer extra coupons that can be applied on top of your Black Friday savings.

For deals on higher-end and clothing and accessories, try the Midtown Manhattan locations of Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s. Shopping begins at Macy’s at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day, Bloomingdale’s opens at 7 a.m. on Black Friday. Downtown, Century 21 will also open at 7 a.m. Friday, featuring markdowns on their already discounted designer goods. INTERMIX, with a handful of NYC locations opening at varying hours Friday morning, will offer 30% off sale items for up to 70% off. Inside you’ll find a handpicked selection of designer clothing from classic brands like Diane von Furstenberg and Ray-Ban to newer names like Dannijo and Current/Elliott.

For even more upscale shopping, head downtown. Tribeca’s Nili Lotan will offer 30% off select pieces from their fall collection, including luxurious jackets and sweaters for women. The shop doesn’t open until noon on Friday, so you’ll have plenty of time to get there after a morning of shopping—or sleeping in!

More affordable clothes, appliances and housewares can be found a little farther from Midtown at department stores like Kohl’sthe store’s Jersey City, Queens and Staten Island locations open at 6 p.m. on Thursday—or Target, with locations in Harlem and Brooklyn also opening at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Have kids on your holiday shopping list? Times Square’s Toys “R” Us—opening at 5 a.m. Friday—is full of perfect presents for infants, toddlers, kids and teenagers. If you’re bringing children with you, stop to take a ride on the store’s indoor Ferris wheel before you start shopping.
