South Street Seaport Museum

New York City’s history as a world port and place of commerce is explored through photographs, paintings, historic ship models and a variety of other sea-related memorabilia. In the summer months, visitors can go fishing on the museum’s Pioneer schooner and learn maritime skills.

Hours: W-Su 11 am-5 pm

Admission: $12 adults, $8 seniors/students, $6 children 6-17, under 5 free
