SeaGlass Carousel

Battery Park was the original home of the New York Aquarium (now located in Coney Island), and the park honors that history with its newest family-friendly attraction, a $16 million carousel that blends art, architecture and music into a magical underwater environment and experience. Within a monumental glass and steel pavilion, shaped like a nautilus shell, 30 fiberglass fish, lit by LED lights and as large as 9.5 feet wide and 13.5 feet tall, spin and swim. Each ride lasts approximately 3.5 minutes.

Hours: M-F 11 am-7 pm, Sa-Su 10 am-8 pm

Spring 2018: Daily 10 am-10 pm

Tickets: $5 per ride
