BAITA by Birreria

This enclosed, heated cabin 14 floors atop the Eataly food hall is dressed as a Piedmont ski lodge, with wooden walls and a retractable roof, open for business as a La Birreria pop-up venture during the winter months. Family-style beef shank, a polenta bar, aged cheeses and a variety of pastas fill out a menu complemented by house-brewed beers in an unusual space with excellent views of the Flatiron Building. Lebanese owners Roland Semaan and Joseph Said enfold marinated meats, homemade hummus, tabbouleh and baba ghanoush in freshly baked pita bread. Small plates, platters and manakeesh (Lebanese pizza) are also available. L & D (daily), Brunch (Sa & Su). $$
