The Cutting Room

The nightclub, co-owned by actor Chris Noth (“Sex and the City,” “Law & Order”), is known for its mix of live acts, from music and comedy to burlesque. The guitar is central to the club’s aesthetic: Witness the sinuous guitar-shaped bar.

The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog

Whether it's the convivial communal punch in the Parlor or a twist on well go-tos in the Taproom, such as vodka and soda spiked with Orinoco bitters, drinks here conjure up Old New York.

The Delancey

The multilevel rock club, offering live acts from every genre, punk to grunge, features a rooftop tropical garden with a retractable roof for rain-or-shine partying. Nightly 5 p.m.-4 a.m.

The Duplex

This buzzing piano bar hosts open mic nights every night of the week, plus popular cabaret and musical theater performances.

The Flatiron Room

The classy crowd at this sophisticated watering hole in its namesake neighborhood has over 1000 varients of whiskey as well as wine, beer, sangria and classic and seasonal cocktails made by educated bartenders. The Flower Shop

An upstairs restaurant serving classic American fare like sweetcorn and grain risotto and fried chicken with curry sauce and burnt lime is complemented by a downstairs bar with a pool table and a 1970's ambiance created by wood paneling, low lighting, elegant brown carpet, potted plants and floral banquettes.
