Baccarat Hotel and Residences New York
Resting in bustling Midtown Manhattan—directly across the street from The Museum of Modern Art, Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York is a 50-story, contemporary Manhattan take on a Parisian hôtel particulier. Throughout the space, guests will find artisanal Baccarat crystal elements, including a sparkling mica-covered vaulted ceiling. The hotel’s art collection of photographs, paintings and more is comprised of pieces from auction houses across Paris, spanning from the 18th century to today. Commissioned works are also on display.
When it comes to slumber, the hotel’s 114 light-filled rooms and suites—from the 400-square-foot Classic King to the palatial 1,740-square-foot Baccarat Suite—feature oversized flat-screen TVs concealed within smoked mirrors, state-of-the-art speakers with Bluetooth connectivity, complimentary high-speed Internet and more. The property also includes 60 residences.
On the dining front, the ground-level contemporary French restaurant, Chevalier, manned by Michelin-starred Executive Chef Shea Gallante, is a reinvention of the classic Parisian brasserie, and The Bar serves as the perfect setting for a smart cocktail. A variety of French pastries are served in The Grand Salon during breakfast, while light fare is served in the space in the afternoon and cocktails in the evening. A champagne presentation takes place nightly. The Grand Salon also boasts a library and petit salon.
Luxury amenities include the use of a chauffeured car, a vintage CitroënDS, used to transport guests within 15 blocks of the hotel. Spa de La Mer includes four treatment rooms. The glass-enclosed gym has state-of-the-art cardio and weight-training equipment. The hotel also has a pool.
