Birdland Theater

The new, 100-seat performance space below Birdland Jazz Club offers a varied entertainment program, including cabaret, jazz, dance, burlesque, comedy and performances by Broadway stars and limited-run Off-Broadway productions.

Blazing Saddles

Bicycle rentals and guided tours throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. Bikes for children, baby seats, trailers and tagalongs available. Daily rentals are for 24 hours, and include lock, helmet, handlebar bag and racks. Rentals range from $15-$30 per hour and $40-$69 per day.

Blue Man Group

(1 hr 45 mins, no intermission)

Now in its 25th year (opening night was Nov. 17, 1991), the show features a trio of bald blue life-forms utilizing high-energy music, props, splatters of paint, comedy and pantomime as it stretches the limits of performance art.

The three-day jamboree/convention/expo for fans of Broadway plays and musicals includes performances, panels, workshops, interviews, meet-and-greets and more.

Confirmed guests include Alex Brightman, Danny Burstein, Joe Iconis, Caitlin Kinnunen and hundreds more actors, producers, authors, songwriters and up-and-coming talents.

BroadwayHD

The online, on-demand streaming service brings live theater—more than 200 recent as well as classic musicals, plays and comedies—and exclusive live-stream content to at-home or on-the-go audiences located in the United States (at this time). BroadwayHD is currently available on Amazon Channels, all compatible Amazon Video devices, and Android and iOS mobile devices. Access is via a monthly package, yearly subscription or on a per-show basis.

Bronx Brewery

A list of year-round brews, a seasonal pale ale, "B-tracks," barrel-aged and limited beers rotates on tap in the tasting room, and a backyard with live music and pop-up food vendors is open on weekends, weather permitting. The popular brewing company's spacious, versatile space has been used for yoga sessions, salsa dancing and painting classes, and offers tours exhibiting its brew tanks. M-F 3 pm-8 pm, Sa & Su 12 pm-7 pm.

Brooklyn Boulders

See how high you can climb at Brooklyn Boulders, a rock climbing facility in Gowanus. Beginners and advanced climbers can use the 22,000 square feet of climbing surface and take fitness classes like yoga, acroyoga and capoeira. New climbers have the option of enrolling in introductory courses. Day passes are $28 and do not include equipment rental.
