Blue Moon Hotel
This boutique hotel with apartment-style suites on Manhattan’s trendy Lower East Side is housed in a 19th century tenement building, once inhabited by immigrants and factory workers. Original architecture, wood moldings, doors, light fixtures and marble tiles are just a few of the features that have been reintegrated into the hotel’s design. Historic memorabilia found throughout the building during reconstruction has been preserved and used as a part of the décor while incorporating modern amenities and services.
Accommodations include 22 oversized rooms and suites—ranging in size from 320 to 750 square feet, with soaring ceilings and comfortable living spaces—named after legends of the 1920s and 30s. Many include balconies with spectacular views. Bathrooms incorporate vanity sink basins with deep soaking tubs and showers. Rooms also boast a refrigerator with mini bar, bar sink, table and chairs, as well as free WiFi and cable.
Complimentary continental breakfast is available in the lobby each morning.
