Boho Braids for Spring at Pierre Michel Salon

Boho Braids for Spring at Pierre Michel Salon

Fashion-forward femmes have ventured to stylists Pierre Ouaknine and Michel Obadia’s Upper East Side space in search of new styles for decades. Their salon, Pierre Michel, recently hosted Beauty & The Braid, where the team of stylists treated guests to the chicest braided styles of Spring. Makeup artist Stacey Menzer created a creamy complexion with a nude lip and bold eye for me in a matter of minutes, and hairstylist Yuki Yamazaki, who has worked on projects for Vogue, GQ, Cosmopolitan and Elle, wove my hair into an artfully messy bunch of crown braids with a teased bun in the back. Paired with a denim jacket and colorful dress, the final look felt easy breezy—a perfect complement to the rising temperatures and increased sunshine. The team at Pierre Michel welcomes new clients to personalize their own Spring looks, whether they crave tousled braids all over, or a long, sleek fishtail grazing the shoulder.
