Cheesesteak eggrolls at Del Frisco’s Grille

Now, this is what I call cool, in more ways than one. One of my favorite bars/steak spots in NYC, Del Frisco's Grille New York is having their own version of a polar bear plunge, but a lot more fun, since this involves eating and drinking. On Feb. 25, head over to the always lively space near Radio City Music Hall: for a $75 prix fixe menu, warm up with homey pickings that include cheesesteak eggrolls, meatloaf, a hot todday and warm chocolate cake. Here is the trick: Regardless of the temperature, you need to eat your meal outside on the Grille patio. The longer you remain outdoors, the more the Grille donates to the Salvation Army, starting at 10% and up to 15% per meal. Guests can also opt to donate.

The Grille will also provide blankets for extra warmth, but don't leave your coats and gloves at home.

Brrr, brrr, good.
