City Wonders respectful Ground Zero Tour offers a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the tragedies of 9/11. The two-hour walk kicks of at St. Paul’s Chapel, which contains humbling exhibitions, like a fireman’s uniform decorated with patches from emergency rescue organizations around the world. Guides take visitors throughout the area surrounding the original home of the fallen towers, pointing out obscure, yet beautiful, memorials, such as “11 Tears” in the American Express Headquarters lobby, and sharing powerful stories of heroism. The reflective stroll, which includes skip-the-line access to the National September 11 Memorial Museum, is both humbling and fascinating.

Details: $69 adults, $64 children. Wed-Sun, starts at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Chapel, 209 Broadway, btw Fulton & Vesey sts., www.citywonders.com
