Unique Finds at the Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market

I love jewelry and have gotten several pieces from a wide range of sources—from  designer boutiques to independent artisans and everything in between. One of my all-time favorite places to spot unusual and unique finds is the open-air Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market. Hugging W. 39th St., btw Ninth & Tenth aves., with a great view of Manhattan’s west side, this popular market carries everything from vintage threads and furniture to costume jewelry (I have a large collection of Monet necklaces from the market) and an assortment of novelty items. If you are looking for something a bit different, head west to Hell’s Kitchen. The flea market is open all year long every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
