Exciting New Products at the MoMA Design Store!

Most people know the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) as one of the best museums in NYC to see modern and contemporary art (paintings, sculptures, photos, prints, film, electronic media and more) from the U.S. and around the world… but did you know it’s also one of the coolest places to shop?

While you can’t purchase the art off the walls, you can definitely head to the MoMA Design Store to purchase prints and products featuring the amazing art and artists at the museum (Warhol, Koons, Matissue, Basquiat and numerous others), as well as home décor (ranging from furniture and electronics to tea kettles and throw pillows), jewelry, apparel, workspace accessories and more.

The MoMA Design Store has dozens of hot new products making their debut this season, including a line of art-inspired shirts, tote bags, hats and scarves in collaboration with UNIQLO, colorful notebooks, crafty clocks, garden tools, rainbow dish wear and kitchen utensils (including my personal favorites: a Magritte bowler hat-inspired sugar bowl from Stoke-on-Trent, UK, and a Cheese Degrees bamboo cheese board that has a ruler and protractor on it to help you cut perfect sized pieces of cheese every time).

Some of these products are exclusive to the MoMA Design Store, so you can only find them at the stores (as there are multiple locations—not just at the museum!) and online. MoMA members can enjoy a special 10% discount on their MoMA Design Store purchases, year-round.
