Summer may be winding down, but there’s still time to enjoy the warm weather with an outdoor movie or two. Here are some of our suggestions:

Aug. 20: This week concludes the Intrepid’s Summer Movie Series with a showing of popular 80’s movie Top Gun aboard the aircraft carrier’s flight deck.

Aug. 21 and 28: Brooklyn Bridge Park offers two more movies in their Syfy Movies With a View series: Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds and a to-be-determined film, which will be announced on the park’s website.

Through Aug. 22: This week, the Central Park Conservancy Film Festival will show a handful of movies celebrating NYC. Tonight, watch Wes Anderson’s quirky film The Royal Tenenbaums or visit Sheep Meadow on Friday for another Hitchcock classic Rear Window.

Aug. 25: Enjoy a movie on the beach in Coney Island! The Flicks on the Beach series will be showing their final film of the season, Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.

Through Aug. 31: There’s plenty to see at the South Street Seaport’s Front/Row Cinema through the end of August, from kid-friendly picks like Frozen (Aug. 27th) to more grown-up choices like Crazy, Stupid, Love (Aug. 30).
