The acclaimed crypt concert series in Harlem, The Crypt Sessions has expanded to Brooklyn with a new series in the catacombs under Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, The Angel's Share. If you’ve never experienced classical music in the catacombs, the acoustics in these subterranean spaces, elevate the music from to ethereal. This is very different kind of music experience, and this month, the series will debut artist harpist Bridget Kibbey + string quartet playing a program centered on Caplet's The Mask of the Red Death (after Poe's short story) Aug 6-7, and twin-sister piano duo Christina and Michelle Naughton playing a program in honor of Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday, a short walk from where he's buried, Aug 25-27.

Each performance includes a pre-concert reception with a whiskey tasting overlooking the Manhattan skyline and harbor at sunset, including whiskeys by Stillhouse Van Brunt, Virgil Kaine, and Five & 20.
