Wine Lovers Unite at Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse

Although the workweek has just begun, it’s never too soon to start planning for the weekend. If you love wine, delectable cuisine and gorgeous views of the twinkling Manhattan cityscape, visit Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse this Friday (April 29) when the Midtown East restaurant hosts New York City’s inaugural Governor Society Wine Tasting.

The Governor Society was founded in Australia in 2014 as an exclusive club of fine wine and luxury goods connoisseurs. At its first U.S. event, guests can taste six vintages from Aramis Vineyards, including The Governor—one of Australia’s most iconic wines. While sipping the selections, which aren’t for sale in the U.S., guests can enjoy mouthwatering morsels prepared by Davio’s culinary team and take in views of the city from the 27th Floor Terrace. Guests will also meet Lee Flourentzou, owner of Aramis Vineyards, and be placed on an exclusive mailing list for future purchases.

The event will take place April 29 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $80 per guest and include food and wine tastings (tax and gratuity not included). For more information, call 212.661.4810.
