A whole month to celebrate my favorite hot beverage! During these cold winter days, cozy up with a hot mug of tea at these great spots.

Alice’s Tea Cup (one Upper West Side and two Upper East Side locations): You don’t have to be mad as a hatter to enjoy tea at this charming restaurant and bakery. There are over 100 teas to choose from, so surely there is a flavor for even the most discerning tea drinker. Order tea by the pot to have on its own, or alongside some tasty scones and other sweet and savory offerings.

Bosie Tea Parlor (West Village): With over 100 hand-sourced and blended fine loose leaf teas curated by Tea Master Kiley Holliday, Bosie Tea Parlor has tea for everyone's tastes. Enjoy it by itself, with your meal or order it with a full tea service that includes tea cakes, tea sandwiches, choice of macarons and more. Champagne Tea Service and a Chef’s Tea Service are available as well (with the latter needing a reservation of at least 48 hours in advance).

Sanctuary T (SoHo): This serene restaurant embraces the rituals of tea. Fine whole and loose leaf teas at Sanctuary T are sourced directly, offering guests the freshest and highest quality cups to be enjoyed with the restaurant’s tea-friendly menu.

Tea & Sympathy (Greenwich Village): This shop is a slice of England in Manhattan and offers all-things British, including tea. Get Tea & Sympathy’s blended teas, along with over 30 other brands and herbal teas by the pot. Drink tea on its own, or as part of a traditional British meal. There’s also an Afternoon Tea for One option where you can tuck in to finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, a selection of cakes and a pot of tea.

Té Company (West Village): Fans of oolong teas should book an experience at Té, where the teas are sourced from China and other areas that offer the world’s best oolongs. You can make reservations for a 2-3 guest tea tasting experience that includes five teas and light snacks with Té Company owner, Elena. (Book your experience here).
