Charlie Palmer Group, a national restaurant group serving upscale American cuisine, recently opened a fourth New York City outpost: Charlie Palmer Steak. Helmed by Chef Charlie Palmer, the group began with flagship restaurant Aureole in midtown Manhattan and now includes a handful of eateries on the West Coast as well as a Washington, DC location of Charlie Palmer Steak.

New York’s Charlie Palmer Steak features dishes by Executive Chef Matthew Zappoli, who has previously worked with Palmer at Aureole, California’s Dry Creek Kitchen and Aureole Las Vegas. While the menu focuses on steak, it also includes a few chicken and seafood dishes, plus an extensive raw bar.

Steak prices range from affordable options like the $38 Teres Major to the more gourmet A5 Kobe Strip Steak for $162. The steakhouse even offers a three-course lunch prix fixe for $29 and a $49 Sunday steak frites menu, complete with an appetizer, dessert and wine.

Lunch is served Monday through Friday and dinner is served daily. The restaurant can accommodate about 150 in its spacious dining room, but reservations are suggested. Parties and events can be held in a 30-seat private room, but the entire space is also available to reserve.

The restaurant opened in Midtown East in September 2014. For more information, visit charliepalmer.com.
