Father’s Day is Sunday June 19.

Did you forget? It’s okay if you did—your secret is safe with me, I promise—because we at IN New York are here to help. Here’s some suggestions of where you can take your dad on his special day.

Booze Cruise (Hornblower Cruises & Events)

How does unlimited beer and brunch while taking a cruise around New York Harbor sound? Pretty great, right? Take your dad on a two-hour tour with great eats, lots to drink, live jazz and awesome views of the skyline.

Broadway’s Ultimate Papa ("Fiddler on the Roof")

My dad can’t be the only one to put on his best Tevye voice when the topic of potential suitors is broached. If your papa also appreciates father-daughter tales and phenomenal storytelling, he should very much enjoy this three-time Tony nominated revival starring Danny Burstein. Your dad (and you) might start singing “Tradition!” and “If I Were a Rich Man” afterward, but I promise you it’s worth it.

Steak. Enough said. (Benjamin Steakhouse)

For those of you with a Ron Swanson-esque dad, I’m sure he’d love a great steak. Benjamin Steakhouse is offering a three course prix fixe menu on Father’s Day priced at $69.95. The à la carte menu will also be available and the steakhouse will be open for both lunch and dinner that day.

DeNiro and wine (Tribeca Grill)

Take your dad to a classy brunch or dinner at this restaurant co-owned by your dad’s favorite actor, Robert DeNiro. If your dad likes a good wine, Tribeca Grill’s award-winning wine list features 2,500 bottles.

Still need a gift? Don’t worry, we have that covered too!

What time is it? (Citizen)

The TI+IP watch is both bold and comfortable, made with Super Titanium™. This timepiece is said to be 40% lighter than stainless steel and five times harder to resist scratches. Sounds like it’s the watch equivalent of Captain America’s shield. ($475)

Not just a place to hop a train. (Grand Central Terminal)

No, you can’t get your dad the entire terminal, but there are 68 retail stores here so you are sure to find a perfect gift (or several) for your dad here before you hop the Metro-North to go visit him.

Personalized chocolate. (M&M’s®)

Nothing says Happy Father’s Day quite like M&M’s® that say Happy Father’s Day on them. Personalize them further by ordering these classic chocolate candies in your dad’s favorite color. ($19.99)

Tech-lovers… accessorize! (m0851)

If your dad has been using the same laptop case since forever, perhaps it’s time to upgrade. Treat your dad to a multi-pocket computer bag that fits a 15” laptop and the rest of his gadgets. Choose from three great colors at m0851. ($595)

Happy Father’s Day, NYC!
