The Morrison Hotel Gallery name originated from the archived photo of The Doors' album cover taken by Henry Diltz in 1969 at the eponymous Morrison Hotel in Los Angeles. Legendary music photographer Henry Diltz; video director Peter Blachley and music industry executive Richard Horowitz combined their decades of music, marketing and art experience, and founded the gallery in 2001.
