Robert Motherwell: Early Collages on View at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

One of the best things about living in New York City is the amount of cultural opportunities available. One of my favorite things to do is check out the many offerings at the city’s famed museums. So naturally, I can’t wait to see Robert Motherwell: Early Collages, on view at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum thru Jan. 5, 2014. On display in the museum’s Annex Level 4, the exhibition explores the beginning of the abstract expressionist’s career—including his papiers collés and related works on paper from the 1940s and early 1950s.
