Psych Yourself Up for the Super Bowl at Liberty Science Center

With four floors of educational exhibits, Liberty Science Center provides hours of family fun. Now through March 2nd, football fans can explore Gridiron Glory, a display of NFL memorabilia that includes jerseys, balls, historic documents and more. You can even try on helmets and padding (pictured) like those worn by players. Nearby, you can also learn some of the training moves football players use to practice at Training Camp.

Next check out Eat and Be Eaten, which recently acquired four adorable cotton-top tamarins. These monkeys leap around their habitat, swinging from branches and entertaining visitors. You can even watch them play online at lsc.org/tamarins. Along with the tamarins, this exhibit also houses tortoises, lizards, fish, birds and insects.

Liberty Science Center offers plenty of exhibits directed toward kids: Energy Quest teaches them about different forces of energy, Bob the Builder – Project: Build Itlets them learn about construction and plumbing and outside the IMAX theater, they can enter a tornado simulator. In April, a new exhibit Beyond Rubik’s Cube explores the popular puzzle.

After your visit, stop into the huge gift shop for science-themed toys, games and gifts. For more details, visit lsc.org.
