Looking for Weekend Plans? Check Out The Original LGBT Expo at Javits Center!

If you’re looking for weekend plans, I suggest a trip to The Original LGBT Expo, which is headed to Javits Center March 12 and 13. The all-encompassing event, the largest and longest-running LGBT convention in the world, celebrates diversity in business, education, politics, the arts, health, technology, media, travel and non-profit sectors.

This year’s event will include more than 300 exhibiting companies, plus plenty of pavilions dedicated to travel (a great place to find vacation ideas), wedding planning and services, small businesses and non-profit organizations. If you’re traveling with the kids in tow, or thinking of starting a family, definitely make sure to check out the all-new Family Pavilion, which will include everything from adoption and fertility services to summer camps and physicians.

On the entertainment front, the expo will feature a live entertainment stage—DJ Christian Adam, Anthony Gibson & DJ Vix V will kick off the event on Saturday at noon, with plenty of acts to follow; film series, covering theater, fashion, music videos and more; and engaging seminars.

General and VIP admission tickets to the expo are available and children under the age of 12 get in free. If you snag a VIP ticket, you get free admission to the expo’s after parties. To purchase tickets, click here
