Head to the 11th Annual New York Times Travel Show This Weekend!

The 11th annual New York Times Travel Show this Saturday and Sunday (March 1 and 2) is sure to be a good one. Housed in the sprawling Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, this year’s show will feature nearly 500 exhibitors representing more than 150 countries (think popular and up-and-coming visitor destinations in Africa, Asia, Australia/South Pacific, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, Mexico and the United States) and will focus on family, adventure and cruise line travel. Attendees will gain access to exclusive travel discounts and more than 45 travel seminars with experts, including Pauline and Arthur Frommer; and international food and wine tastings. I’m going to be there with bells on Sunday morning and can’t wait to take a turn trying some of the family-friendly activities, including climbing a 24-foot rock-climbing wall or bungee jump on a giant trampoline. The event will be open to the public tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The show will be held in Hall 3D & E, located on 11th Ave. at the W. 34th St. entrance to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Make sure to stop by the IN New York & Where booth both days to say “hi,” pick up our great publications and a flier with a QR code to an almost-endless number of deals found on innewyork.com! See you at the show!
