Experience Macau in Grand Central Terminal

Grand Central Terminal is a world-famous hub that on a daily basis connects passengers to New York’s northern counties and Connecticut. But, from October 1 through 4, the iconic venue’s Vanderbilt Hall will serve as the gateway to Experience Macau, a Special Administration Region of China just one hour south of Hong Kong.

At this free, four-day event, curious visitors will get to know more about this mysterious land, which was governed by Portugal for more the 400 years, through several fun activities—from painting Chinese lanterns and designing a Portuguese azulejo to viewing dragon dances and sampling Macanese cookies. Visitors can also view works of art that display Macau’s beauty, as well as snap a photo with Macau backdrops in the photo booth, browse spices and other cooking essentials, receive travel information and more.
