Celebri-Trees Bring Holiday Cheer to Madame Tussauds New York

Last week, I visited Madame Tussauds New York in Times Square for the first time. Initially I was a little scared of the international wax museum’s lifelike figures, but after walking through a few rooms of the multi-level exhibit, I got used to them. I really enjoyed the experience of seeing approximately what various celebrities look like close up. I discovered that the figure of Madame Tussaud herself stood a bit shorter than my 5’1” frame, while New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning towered over me—obviously.

This holiday season, the museum introduced a bit of holiday cheer with Celebri-Trees: faux pine trees adorned with decorations inspired by celebrities, like neon pink pine needles with candy ornaments for popstar Katy Perry and blue with bright orange basketballs and number 7’s for New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony. Visit madametussauds.com/NewYork for more details.
