Super Bowl LI is upon us. And while my beloved Packers will not be playing, I’ll cheer on the Atlanta Falcons as they go up against the New England Patriots—but, let’s be real, I’m most excited for Lady Gaga’s halftime show. If you’re in NYC and need a fun spot to catch the big game, here are just a handful of places you could go for the 6:30 pm kickoff:

Boxers NYC (Chelsea and Hell’s Kitchen): Come to either Boxers location for a tailgating party at 4 pm a before the 6:30 pm kickoff. Full surround sound, loads of flat screen TVs. America’s favorite gay sports bar offers brick oven pizza, wings, sliders and more to munch on and the bartenders wear only signature boxers while they serve up drinks.

The LCL: Bar & Kitchen (Midtown East/Murray Hill): Known for elevated comfort food and a creative cocktail menu, this dining establishment—located on the ground floor of The Westin New York Grand Central—will have drink specials and a special game day food menu to celebrate the biggest football game of the year. Mr. Purple (Lower East Side): This rooftop bar and restaurant at Hotel Indigo has stunning views of the city and a big screen game on which to watch the Super Bowl this Sunday. Mr. Purple’s game day menu will feature drink specials and special dining options. Call 212.237.1790 to reserve a table.

Threes Brewing (Gowanus, Brooklyn): This Brooklyn brewpub features draughts from their own label, as well as a rotating selection from other local breweries or hard to find beers from around the U.S. and world. Food options include burgers, tacos, nachos, seasonal salads and more. The Super Bowl bash at Threes Brewing is from 5 pm-midnight and features Pitchers of Vliet Pilsner for $15 and a game day menu provided by the brewery’s food partner, The Meat Hook.

Treadwell Park (Upper East Side): This craft beer hall has over 20 brews (beers and ciders) on rotation and serves up savory eats like burgers, foot-long hot dogs, giant soft pretzels, pulled pork, jerk chicken and more. Game day specials include platters of pigs in a blanket or sliders, buckets of wings, choice of 10 pilsners, IPAs or cider cans in a complimentary cooler. Reserve your spot by contacting
