Party at Petrossian

Party at Petrossian

In a word, Petrossian is simply one of the city’s prettiest restaurants. Having not been there in years, I forgot just how gorgeous a restaurant it is. The ornate Art Deco building the restaurant is housed in sits on the corner of 58th Street and 7th Avenue, like the mansion of a Grande Dame. Inside you are dazzled by the Lalique crystal wall sconces, the Erté etched mirrors, the Limoge china and pink granite, to name just a few of the lovely touches in this plush restaurant. Caviar, smoked fish, and foie gras are the type of delicacies you will find on the menu, along with some creative cocktails; new to the libations menu is the unique Fleur de Vers, an enticing mixture of Tangueray, Chartreuse and St. Germain with a sprinkling of caviar powder for $27 a glass. So, when you are in the mood for the lap of luxury and want a little bit of Gatsby in your life, Petrossian just might be the place for you.
