Department stores aren’t the only places to find holiday gifts this season. For a unique shopping experience, check out one of these temporary holiday shops. 

Creeds Collective
‘Tis the season for giving, and, at this three-level, interactive, holiday shopping experience, 10% of all net sales made over the entirety of the SoHo boutique’s run will be donated to Global Citizen, which advocates social change to end extreme poverty by 2030. At this socially conscious shopping emporium, visitors will find more than 45 brands ranging from contemporary apparel and accessories to grooming products, footwear and home-design items—perfect gifts to give (or keep), as well as THANN Natural Hair & Skincare beauty lounge, a Primp and Polish nail art bar, a #hashtag photobooth, “new-tech” station and art exhibitions. Republic Collective
You can shop for everyone on your list at this 2,500-square-foot pop-up shop, located at 462 West Broadway. The two-level space boasts everything from travel-friendly clothing by Anatomie and scented candles by Bijou Candles to luxury menswear by Boga, Farm Candy’s artisanal salts and sugars, and Brazilian-inspired accessories by Hipanema. The SoHo shop will be open thru Dec. 29 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.  All merchandise is also available for sale online.

Guerlain Holiday Pop Up Shop
Open until Jan. 4, Guerlain Spa’s temporary shop (corner of Park Ave. & E. 50th St., near the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria New York) is the perfect place for pampering. Hosted by Guerlain and the Guerlain Spa in the Towers of the Waldorf Astoria New York, the space features a retail store with Guerlain makeup, skincare and fragrance products, as well as special gift sets for the holidays. Best part? Pop-up shoppers receive 20% off spa treatments with any product purchase. Visitors also have an opportunity to book spa services directly on-site and indulge in complimentary makeup applications. Gift cards are available for both Guerlain Spa treatments and Guerlain Boutique product purchases. And, don’t miss the Bottle Bling event on Dec. 17 from noon to 6 p.m., where guests may have their favorite fragrance bottles “blinged out” with Swarovski crystals. Bottle Bling is complimentary with a $100 purchase.

When shopping for those tech-focused friends and loved ones, head to German headphone manufacturer Sennheiser’s holiday pop up on the Lower East Side (11 Kenmare St.). Open thru Dec. 28, the store’s “chill” vibe is enhanced by sonic and visual elements, abstracted forms, cityscapes and visual sound waves—the ideal no-stress environment to shop Sennheiser’s selection of consumer headphones, including the recently launched young Urbanite, the premium Momentum Onear and smaller earphones. The shop features a DJ booth and gaming area, where visitors can test specific products in their home environment. Prices range from $20 to $300.

The contemporary Paris-based accessory brand Côte&Ciel has opened its first-ever U.S. location in the form of a temporary pop-up shop. The 855-square-foot space, open thru Jan. 23 at 355A Bowery St., features the brand’s iconic classics as well as the most recent product launches from the new collection, including the Kalix Tote, Hudson Briefcase, Concrete Herringbone collection and Coated Canvas collection.
