Fashion Week Designers You Can Get Looks From Today

As we ease into autumn, the fashion industry is already looking ahead to what will be the hottest trends of next spring and summer. Those must-have looks for the upcoming season will be revealed from September 8 through September 15 during New York Fashion Week. This bi-annual event showcases collections from some of the top designers in the world of women’s fashion.

While some of these threads may be runway-only styles, a number of the designers also have stores with ready-to-wear options. Here are just a few of the places you can shop for hot looks right now in NYC:

alice + olivia – Stacy Bendet’s lifestyle brand of women’s wear celebrates bold colors, prints and details. Her collections mix whimsy and sophistication and include ready-to-wear items, gowns, accessories, handbags and shoes. Christian Siriano - After studying in London under Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, Christian Siriano launched his collection in 2008. Since then, his brand has expanded from stunning gowns, ready-to-wear pieces, stylish shoes and accessories to handbags, intimates, eyewear and more. Cynthia Rowley - This designer’s global lifestyle brand is bursting with adventure and innovation. From flirty dresses to fashionable wetsuits to form-fitting fitness wear, Rowley’s pieces are for women looking for trendy styles for both work and recreation. There are two boutiques in NYC—the Upper East Side (43 E. 78th St., 212.288.1141) and in the West Village (376 Bleecker St., 212.242.3803).

Vera Wang - For over 25 years, Vera Wang has been designing sophisticated and detailed fashion-forward pieces that look gorgeous on the runway and when being walked down the aisle. Her bridal collections are revolutionary and she has since expanded to footwear, china and crystal, eyewear, fragrances and more. While her designs can be found in dozens of retail establishments, she does have two stores of her own in NYC.
