The Sea Grill at Rockefeller Center will savor the last days of the outdoor dining season with its annual end-of-summer Lobster Bake on Friday, Sept. 21 from 6-9 p.m.  In true New England fashion, renowned Chef Andy Bennett and his team at The Sea Grill will be steaming traditional lobster bake ingredients over glowing-hot stones, and under sheets of seaweed on their outdoor grill.

They’ll kick off this outdoor celebration of lobster with seasonal starters such as lobster mac and cheese bites; heirloom tomato and watermelon salad with feta, mint and aged balsamic; late summer bean salad with Greek dressing and toasted almonds; chilled corn soup shooters with lump crab and jalapeño; poached shrimp sliders with Thai salad slaw, and more!

The scrumptious annual crowd pleaser, “The Bake” will showcase whole Maine lobster, Manila clams, little neck clams, shrimp, and mussels served with steamed red-bliss potatoes and corn on the cob; along with flame-kissed dishes including grilled kielbasa sausage, and rosemary and garlic roasted chicken.

And there’s no better way to end this festive feast than by trying a summer-inspired dessert like the watermelon and strawberry fruit salad, mango parfait with lime and coconut cream, or blueberry and lemon thyme mini pies.
