Root & Bone is Sending Some Southern Comfort to Puerto Rico

Soul-nurturing and conscientious Root & Bone is continuing its Puerto Rican relief efforts. The East Village southern food restaurant will be partnering with Don Q Rum and hosting a three-day special dinner menu with rum pairings to benefit Root & Bone's Puerto Rican family and friends affected by Hurricane Maria starting Thursday Sunday, Nov. 16th through Sunday, Nov. 19th. For $45, guests will enjoy cuisine from Bravo's "Top Chef" alums Chef Janine Booth and Chef Jeff Mcinnis, including fried chicken, collard greens casserole and mac and cheese while sipping on Don Q Rum and rum cocktail pairings for an additional $40 per person.

A portion of the sales of the food and 100% of the sales of the booze will go to Hurricane Maria relief efforts
