Last week, I went to the grand opening party for the new Morton’s The Steakhouse location near the World Trade Center. The original lower Manhattan location was lost in 2001 during the September 11 attacks. The brand-new space—in the Club Quarters hotel directly across from the 9/11 Memorial and three blocks away from the World Trade Center Tower—boasts two floors: the bar area on the street level and the main dining area and boardrooms on the lower level downstairs. The dining area's eclectic décor is a mix of metallic hues and rich, dark leathers. While there, I sampled tender beef sliders, bruschetta, and mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto. The food definitely lives up to the Morton’s name and I can’t wait to go back for dinner. For more information, click here.
