More Than Just Hot Dogs at Bark

More Than Just Hot Dogs at Bark

You can find hot dogs all over the city, from street vendors to baseball stadiums. But if you want a more creative dog, head to Park Slope’s Bark. The Brooklyn shop boasts mostly local ingredients— like a shake made with coffee from their neighbor Gorilla Coffee—and a variety of other food like burgers, chicken and veggie sides. They also offer plenty of vegetarian options from their veggie dog with potato, apple, sage, barley and wheat to their kale, carrot and almond salad. The restaurant even makes brussel sprouts appetizing by covering them in the same melt-in-your-mouth cheddar sauce that tops their soft-yet-crispy cheddar fries.

The shop is located just steps away from the subway and within walking distance of Barclays Center and Atlantic Terminal. On Sundays, Bark’s large flat screens make it a great spot to catch a football game. According to Grub Street, the restaurant will soon open a second location on Bleecker Street so Manhattanites won’t have to make the trek to Brooklyn for a Bark dog. Visit barkhotdogs.com for more.
