Named after an avant-garde French comedy by playwright Félicien Marceau, La Bonne Soupe is a bistro in Midtown West that serves American favorites with a French twist.

“La bonne soupe” literally translates to “good soup,” but it also has come to mean “the good life.” And while La Bonne Soupe does serve good soups—including its award-wining onion soup—the bistro also serves a generous selection of salads, omelettes, cheese fondue, crepes, burgers, sandwiches, fish and indulgent desserts.

Good food makes for a good life, n’est-ce pas?

La Bonne Soupe is open from 11:30 am–10:30 pm daily and is located mere minutes from some of the best attractions NYC has to offer (Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, the Theater District, Carnegie Hall and more). Large groups can be accommodated as early as 11 am. For reservations of parties of three or more people, call 212.586.7650.

La Bonne Soupe is located at 48 W. 55th St., btw Fifth & Sixth aves.
