All-Female 'Guest-Chef' Series Continues at The Sosta

The Sosta continues their all-female 'Guest-Chef' Series on Tuesday, October 9 at 6:30 pm with a meet and greet and book signing with culinary writer, recipe developer and author of beloved cookbook Back Pocket Pasta, Colu Henry. Guests are encouraged to enjoy pasta and wine throughout the evening! The October special, ‘Colu’s Spaghetti alla Norma,’ features eggplant, oregano, basil, garlic, chili flakes, tomato, and ricotta salata and will be available throughout the month for $13. The series kicked off in early 2018 with female collaborators such as Gail Simmons, Alison Roman, Stacy London, and Claudia Oshry of Girl With No Job and will continue with Carla Hall, and Leandra Medine for the remainder of 2018.


The Sosta is a fresh, authentic Italian restaurant inspired by all of Italy’s regions and cuisines, focuses on making fresh pasta daily. The Sosta, "break” in Italian, plays on the idea of a well-deserved break, as well as breaking bread over a great meal. The Sosta offers guests the opportunity to enjoy fresh, authentic Italian dishes, chef-crafted salads, sandwiches, antipasti boards, daily soups, specially-curated house wines and beers on tap, fresh-baked cookies and local-sourced gelato from Fresco Gelateria in the East Village.
