Now is the time of year when kids can visit with Santa to tell him what they would like for Christmas—and maybe even score a photo with the Man in Red! Here are five of the best places in town for kids to meet St. Nick.

ABC Carpet & Home (Flatiron): Widely known as one of the most popular Santas in the city, make sure to bring a camera (or have your phone ready) for a free photo when your little one meets him! Santa’s digs are decked out with crushed velvet and upscale houseware items. Try and get there early, as there will likely be a lengthy line. (Dec. 11 & 18, 11 am-3 pm; 888 Broadway, btw E. 18th & E. 19th sts.)

Macy’s Santaland (Herald Square): Admission is free to visit Santa in this lavishly decorated wonderland on the eighth floor of the famous NYC department store. Sign up for a free Express Pass to reserve a time to meet Santa or enjoy all the sights you’ll see while in line! There are professional photo packages available for purchase starting at $20.99. (Open daily through Dec. 24. Times vary—please click here for more info; 151 W. 34th St., at Broadway)

Bloomingdale’s (Upper East Side): Come meet Santa at this whimsical holiday locale on the fifth floor of the store. Photo packages start at $22. (Through Dec. 23, 10 am-6 pm; 1000 Third Ave., at E. 59th St.)

Santa at Brookfield Place (Battery Park City): Enjoy the sights and sounds of holidays at Brookfield Place! While waiting to see Santa, children and their guardians are offered holiday-themed activities they can do including coloring, playing with toys and making ornaments. Premium photo packages are available for purchase of $27-$49, with additional digital download options. (Through Dec. 24. Times vary—please click here for more info; 230 Vesey St., at West St.)

The Santa Experience at The Plaza (Midtown): Santa has a workshop set up in The Plaza Food Hall’s concourse! Photo packages start at $29.99. The Plaza is hosting a sold-out SantaCares event (along with AbilityPath and Autism Speaks) on Dec. 11 where special needs children can spend time with Santa in a more controlled atmosphere. (Through Dec. 24, 1-8 pm on weekdays, 11 am-7 pm on weekends; Fifth Avenue at Central Park South)
